Large dormer loft conversion
The Project
This loft conversion is the perfect example of how you can make your home work harder for you with the space you have, rather than moving house. We managed to build the dormer in a day which we were pretty pleased about! Just in time for an impending planning deadline.
We built and completed this project in its entirety which included all the roofing, hanging all the Spanish slates, reclaiming the original ridge tiles, installing the Veluxes and GRPing the new flat roof.
We completed all the internals and worked with the customer to layout all the stud walls. As well as installing the loft staircase, and new double glazing throughout, we also designed bespoke wood panelling and custom wardrobe for our client.
For the ensuite, we undertook the full fit out, including designing and sourcing the materials based on the art deco style the client likes and their main brief being that they wanted to feel like they were stepping into a hotel bathroom.
We also updated the existing family bathroom for the kids using the lovely Ca’Pietra National Trust tiles and creating the tile pattern so it gave the room a fun twist.
